Meet Chrissy
My journey to becoming a certified nutritionist was deeply personal. In my childhood, my siblings and I ate whatever we wanted, whenever we wanted, with no real consideration about how it would affect our health. As far as physical activity was concerned, there was none, I didn’t even participate in any sports until I was 16. Over time, I realized that my bad habits had caught up with me and I gained quite a bit of weight. Diet and exercise became my obsession and I developed a strained relationship with food. I lost about 50 pounds, but I was no closer to finding health. I knew that there had to be a simpler path to being healthy, so I started to study nutrition. I earned a certificate through NASM, then one through Precision Nutrition, and finally got my MNU Nutritionist Certification. I also worked with a coach to get my habits on track with what aligned with me. Now I am so excited to combine my personal journey with evidence-based knowledge to help others avoid the mistakes I made. My goal is to help you find a way forward with balanced, sustainable advice that empowers you to have a healthy relationship with food for the rest of your life.
